SYSTEMS ENGINEER
Job Description:
Responsible for project management and deliverables.
Responsible for operation, maintenance and upgrades / enhancements of all applications in the organization.
Responsible for understanding the set-up and functionality of all application systems operated.
Basic functionality is to understand the requirements of all functional departments and to provide these with the necessary applications for their daily business.
Works closely with all levels of the business in order to define new system requirements.
Submits and follows-up on requests for system enhancements and system defect resolution.
Co-ordinates all requests for data and/or reports from the system.
Works with operation to define appropriate application set-up and processes to implement new business products.
Undertakes the acceptance testing of new system functions.
Education/Qualifications:
BE/BTECH/MCA/MTECH
Technical Skills/Expertise:
-Should be an expert in Designing a three tier architecture system
-Architect and own large scale technology solutions, technology and product selection.
-Should be able to understand the client’s business and technical requirements and translate them to the technology solution.
-Should have clear perspective and approach for meeting business objectives with the use of technology solutions
-Strong architectural knowledge and working knowledge of Oracle database platform.
-Good design skills using OOAD and UML.
-Should have been involved in solution architecting J2EE applications using SOA.
-Experience of designing applications interfacing to third party systems.
-Understands multiple technologies
